Privacy Policy

• To personalize your kit, which is stamped with your name and license details, and to deliver it to you.
• To provide support, replace files, and answer questions.
• To measure whether the product works. This is the reason for the job search questions, and it is the honest one: I want to be able to say what actually changed for buyers, based on real numbers rather than testimonials.
• To run the pre-launch test program, which means keeping a record of who accepted which version of the Beta Tester Agreement and when, and acting on the feedback testers give me.
• To meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
• To send you product updates and occasional emails, if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time and every email includes a link.
• To verify licensing and protect the work. License information, reference codes, and watermark identifiers are used to confirm that a copy is authorized, investigate unauthorized distribution, and protect intellectual property rights.

Put plainly, I process personal information in order to perform the purchase contract, run the test program, provide support, comply with legal obligations, protect the business and its intellectual property, and communicate with people who asked to hear from me.

The job search questions are used in aggregate. If I ever publish outcome figures, they will be reported as combined statistics across many people. I will never publish your individual answers, name, or story without asking you first and getting your written agreement.

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for anyone else's advertising. I share it only with the service providers I need to run the business.

These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments and may only use your information to provide their service to me. Stated by category, the providers I use are payment processors, checkout and storefront platforms, email providers, form and spreadsheet tools, website hosting, and professional advisers. The specific companies named above are current as of this version and may change as the business grows. The categories will not.

• I do not sell your personal information.
• I do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• I do not sell, license, provide, disclose, or knowingly permit your career information, resume content, questionnaire responses, tester feedback, or support communications to be used for training any artificial intelligence model.
• I do not see the contents of your AI conversations. Those happen in your own account with your chosen AI provider, and they are governed by that provider's privacy policy, not mine.

The kit is designed so that your resume, master documents, and interview material stay in your own files and your own AI account. I do not receive them, store them, or have access to them unless you deliberately email something to me for support or, if you are a tester, as part of your feedback.

Purchase records and license reference codes are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to verify licenses, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and protect intellectual property rights. In practice that means a long time, because a buyer may need support or a replacement copy years after purchase.

Outcome form answers are kept for as long as they are useful for measuring whether the product works.

Email correspondence is kept for two years.

Records of who accepted which version of the Beta Tester Agreement, and when, are kept for as long as the obligations in that agreement continue.

You can ask me to delete any of it sooner.

California residents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable legal exceptions. I extend the same choices to everyone, wherever you live.

• See what I hold. Ask and I will tell you what information I have about you.
• Correct it. Tell me what is wrong and I will fix it.
• Delete it. Ask and I will delete it, subject to records I am required to keep for legal, tax, or license-verification reasons.
• Unsubscribe. Use the link in any email, or just ask.
• Skip the questions. The job search questions help me, and you are not obliged to give exact figures. Rough numbers are fine.
• Verifying who you are. Before I act on a request about someone's personal information, I may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm you are that person. This protects you, since otherwise anyone could email and ask for your details.
• What deletion costs you. Deleting your records may limit my ability to verify your purchase, provide support, replace your files, or confirm your license in future. If you ask for deletion, I will tell you what will no longer be possible before I act.

I generally respond to requests within two business days, and in any case within the time required by applicable law.

The website and the checkout platform may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep your cart working, measure traffic, improve performance, and understand how visitors use the site. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Refusing them may stop parts of the checkout from working.

This business is operated from California, in the United States. If you access the site or buy from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

This one is worth stating plainly, because it connects several things. Purchase records, license reference codes, watermark information, file identifiers, tester acceptance records, and related account information may be retained and used to verify licensing rights, investigate unauthorized distribution, enforce the License Terms and the Beta Tester Agreement, protect copyrighted material, and pursue available remedies in the event of infringement or misuse.

Every copy of the product is personalized and traceable, and the License Terms and the Beta Tester Agreement both say so as well. I would rather tell you that here, in the privacy policy, than have it come as a surprise.

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. I do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites.

This product is intended for working professionals. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and I will delete it.

Payment details are handled by the payment processor and never stored by me. Other information is held in password-protected accounts with the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure. If I become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, I will provide notice as required by applicable law.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated version number and date. If a change materially affects how your information is used, I will email buyers on file to tell them. The version in force when you purchased is shown at the bottom of this page.
